Beware of the
discouragement
From those
pretending to be true,
By promising with
false intent
To do what they
will never do.
There
is a contrast that is plain
In
faithful messengers today,
Unlike
the clouds which promise rain
That afterwards just drift away.
How
pure and true the sayings are
Of
God who surely cannot lie,
As
good news from a country far
With
waters cool that satisfy!
O
Lord, we know You're in control;
The
false tongue shall not long endure.
Your
faithful words refresh the soul
And
furnish well Your messenger.
