"A true witness delivereth souls" (Proverbs 14:25). "This is the Word of the LORD... Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, saith the LORD of hosts" (Zechariah 4:6). "Those things, which God before had showed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, He hath so fulfilled. Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out" (Acts 3:18,19).
The
witness of God's Word is true,
Persuading
those who humbly hear it
And
saving those thus born anew
By
grace proceeding from His Spirit.
The
things which prophets had foretold
Regarding
our Lord Jesus Christ
On
history's pages we behold:
The
Lamb of God was sacrificed.
There
is a day of great lament
Awaiting
those who have ignored
The
Spirit's calling to repent,
Who
thus refuse to trust the Lord.
O
Lord, we thank You for Your Word
By
which we witness to the lost,
By
which we also are assured
You
satisfied redemption's cost.
