"O give thanks unto the LORD... make known His deeds among the people... talk ye of all His wondrous works" (Psalm 105:1,2). "Who can say, I have made my heart clean, I am pure from my sin?" (Proverbs 20:9). "I have redeemed them... and they shall remember Me in far countries" (Zechariah 10:8,9). "[Saul] preached Christ in the synagogues, that He is the Son of God... and confounded the Jews which dwelt at Damascus, proving that this is very Christ" (Acts 9:20,22).
Give
thanks to our Savior and Lord,
And
talk of the deeds that He did.
Let
His wondrous works be explored;
Let
not His salvation be hid.
Let's
talk of the times of our Savior,
Who
bore on the cross all our sin.
He
fought there to grant us His favor
And
give us the prize He would win.
The
glorious Gospel of Christ
Declared
by the prophets before
Portraying
the Lamb sacrificed,
Is
sent to the far country's shore.
O
Lord, as we gladly recall
And
talk of the times of Your deeds,
We
prove by the Scriptures (like Saul)
The
Gospel that everyone needs!
