"Who can utter the mighty acts of the LORD?" (Psalm 106:2). "There is no... understanding... against the LORD" (Proverbs 21:30). "They weighed for My price thirty pieces of silver... and cast them to the potter in the house of the LORD" (Zechariah 11:12,13). "Jesus Christ... is Lord of all... Him God raised up the third day, and showed Him openly... To Him give all the prophets witness, that through His name whosoever believeth in Him shall receive remission of sins" (Acts 10:36-43).
The mighty acts of God displayed
Are wonderful to contemplate!
But who can utter what He made
Or know His power to create?
There surely is no understanding
Which can succeed against the Lord.
The prophets wrote by God's commanding
The price they weighed for His reward!
That Jesus Christ is Lord of all
Is manifested openly.
On all the prophets we may call
To witness His authority.
O Lord, we understand in part
The price You paid to save our soul,
Yet scarcely know how we may start
To utter the unspeakable!
