"I know that Thou canst do everything, and that no thought can be withholden from Thee" (Job 42:1,2). "I will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel" (Psalm 16:7) "Hear Me now therefore, O ye children, and depart not from the words of My mouth" (Proverbs 5:7). "Now therefore are we all here present before God, to hear all things that are commanded thee of God... He commanded us to preach unto the people... that through His name whosoever believeth in Him shall receive remission of sins" (Act 10:33-43).
In
view of God's omnipotence
And
His omniscient understanding,
How
perfect is our Lord's defense
And
counsel that He is commanding!
O
let us bless the Lord today
Who
gives His counsel to His own
And
guides our steps into His way
By
His command which He makes known.
How
foolishly do we depart
From
anything our Lord has said!
His
counsel safely guards our heart
And
rightly guides where He has led.
How
wisely, then, do we take heed
Of
every word our God commands!
How
much we need our Lord lead,
Who
fashioned us with His own hands!
Lord,
give us ready hearts to hear
The
words of counsel that You give
That
we may walk in godly fear
And
please You in this life we live.
O
Lord, we thank You for Your Word
Declaring
Your salvation sent
By
Your commanded counsel heard
That
saves the lost who will repent!
