Seeking Such

"Show Thy marvelous lovingkindness, O Thou that savest by Thy right hand them which put their trust in Thee from those that rise up against them. Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of Thy wings" (Psalm 17:7,8). "The Father seeketh such to worship Him" (John 4:23).

The searching eye of God above
Is seeking such in every land
Who are longing for His love
And looking for His saving hand.

The heart of God has called us near
As the apple of His eye,
Seeking such to make it clear:
That is why He came to die.

As a hen would spread her wings
To protect her brood from harm,
God is seeking such and brings
Around us His protective arm.

Thank You, Lord, for seeking such
As each of us to worship You.
Thank You for Your healing touch,
And thereby making all things new!
