Way to Walk

"Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD... and Noah walked with God" (Genesis 6:8,9).  "They that... seek Him with the whole heart... walk in His ways" (Psalm 119:2,3).  "The path of the just is as the shining light... Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established" (Proverbs 4:18,26).  "The night following the Lord stood by him, and said, Be of good cheer, Paul: for as thou hast testified of Me in Jerusalem, so must thou bear witness also at Rome" (Acts 23:11). 

As Noah walked the path of grace

And found approval in God's eyes,

So we may also take our place

With those whom God considered wise. 

When we have truly sought the Lord

With all our heart, our soul, and might,

We'll walk with God in sweet accord

In paths of ever-growing light. 

The way to walk, until we're home,

Is in the cheer that Christ will give,

As when the Lord sent Paul to Rome

And strengthened him with grace to live.

O Lord, we thank You for the way

To walk in fellowship with You

As You have taught us to obey

Your perfect will in all we do.
