We’re
called into the secret place
Where
God Almighty hides His own. We’re called to come by saving grace
And trust in Him, and Him alone.
He
casts His shadow over us
And
shelters us beneath His wings, And, oh, His rest is glorious,
As we adore the King of kings!
We’re
called to come and set our love
On
Him whose love has never failed: For us He left His throne above,
And on the cross, His love prevailed.
How
sweet is this simplicity
To
set our love upon our Savior, To make this our priority,
And rest in His salvation’s favor!
We’re
called to come and to discern
The
gracious words our Savior spoke, Inviting us from Him to learn
And take upon ourselves His yoke.
Ah! This is where we find our rest,
And
burdens here are cast aside! Yes, this is where our souls are blest,
As in our Savior we abide!
We’re
called to come; why would we wait
When
we now have His invitation? Why should we longer hesitate
To deeply drink of His salvation?
O
Lord, we’ve heard Your gracious voice;
We’ve
seen Your love for us so true. You’ve called us, and our hearts rejoice
To come and set our love on You.
