“God
be merciful unto us, and bless us; and
cause His face to shine upon us; Selah. That
Thy way may be known upon earth, Thy saving health among all nations” (Psalm
67:1,2). “Train up a child in the way he
should go… Have not I written to thee excellent things in counsels and
knowledge, that I might make thee know the certainty of the words of truth;
that thou mightest answer the words of truth to them that send unto thee?”
(Proverbs 22:6,19-21). “If ye continue
in My word, then are ye My
disciples indeed; and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you
free” (John 8:31,32).
May
God in mercy cause His face
To
shine on us to show His way,
Enlightened
by His Word of grace
To
show His saving health today.
May
we who have His Word of truth
Make
known His way to every nation,
And
thus equip and train our youth
To
shine the truth of His salvation.
We
have His word of certainty
Which
God uniquely certified
With
truth confirmed by prophecy,
And
thus His way is verified.
We
have the answer with the proof
That
souls who seek the Lord desire.
Though
mockers choose to stand aloof,
Their
scorn shall vanish in the fire.
His
Way and Word display the path
Which
leads us to His saving health,
Which
saves ours souls from endless wrath,
And
blesses with eternal wealth.
O
Lord, how greatly we rejoice
To
know Your Word is surely true!
Your
grace extends this blissful choice
That
makes us free by trusting You.
