"Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God: which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth forever" (Psalm 146:5,6). "The lip of truth shall be established forever: but a lying tongue is but for a moment" (Proverbs 12:19).
Forever faithful is the One
Who made the heaven, earth, and sea.
He gave is own beloved Son,
Who kept His Word of prophecy.
And thus He clearly demonstrated
The Word He speaks is always true.
The promise God communicated
We can be sure that He will do.
Happy is the one who knows
His help and hope are in the Lord,
Who, as He promised, died and rose,
And shall forever be adored.
And so we speak with confidence
With lips of truth that make us free,
For truth from God has its defense
By Him who lives eternally.
We know, O Lord, Your truth goes on,
Forever faithful as Your throne.
A lying tongue shall soon be gone;
Your truth shall stand, and Yours alone!
