"We thus judge, that if One died for all, then were all dead... Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh.... Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new" (2 Corinthians 5:14-17).
We should not value in our view
A person by his outward features.
The old is passed, all things are new,
When we become in Christ new creatures!
There is a value God has priced
That shows the worth of every soul:
It was the death of Jesus Christ,
Who paid the sinner's debt in full!
Since all were dead, for all One died:
No other value would suffice
That we might thus be justified,
But Christ alone, our Sacrifice.
So look again at those you see
With heaven's value on each one.
Their price was weighed at Calvary,
Where God spared not His precious Son.
