"Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not Thy peace, and be not still, O God… that they may seek Thy name, O LORD… that men may know that Thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth" (Psalm 83:1,16,18). "I have set thee a watchman… therefore thou shalt hear the word at My mouth, and warn them from Me… I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked" (Ezekiel 33:7,11). "A great multitude… cried… Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb" (Revelation 7:9,10).
We
pray that God will not be still,
That
souls may turn and humbly seek
The
Savior who declares His will
Through
watchmen whom He sends to speak.
The
Lord esteems each soul a treasure
For
whom He suffered and He died.
The
Lord has said "I have no pleasure"
When
sinners perish in their pride.
We
are the watchmen God has sent
To
speak to those who yet are scorning,
That
they may tremble and repent
As
they have heard God's solemn warning.
You
gave us, Lord, the watchman's task
Of
warning souls of condemnation.
Our
answer, to the ones who ask
Where
hope is found, is Your salvation.
