"Praise the LORD; for the LORD is good… Thy name, O LORD, endureth forever; and Thy memorial, O LORD, throughout all generations" (Psalm 135:3,13). "The commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life" (Proverbs 6:23). "Lift up thy voice like a trumpet… and the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought… and thou shalt be… like a spring of water, whose waters fail not" (Isaiah 58:1,11). "God is not the Author of confusion" (1 Corinthians 14:33).
We praise the
Lord, for He is good;
We see this by
the things He's done.
We thank our
God, and rightly should,
For Christ our
Savior, His own Son.
The light of truth
is God's command
To show the lost
there is a choice.
He sends us forth
to every land
Like trumpeters who
lift their voice.
The Lord will
guide us day by day
With truth that
purges every doubt
To give us words
that we should say,
Like springs of
water in the drought.
You're not the
Author of confusion,
But rather, Lord,
You are the Spring
Of speech exposing
strong delusion
To prove the Gospel
that we bring.
