"As for me, I will call upon God; and the LORD shall save me... Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and He shall sustain thee" (Psalm 55:16,22). "Most men will proclaim everyone his own goodness: but a faithful man who can find?... Man's goings are of the LORD; how can a man then understand his own way?" (Proverbs 20:24). "The wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy" (James 3:17).
There
is a place to find at last
The
wisdom God extends to all,
A
place where burdens may be cast
As
on the Lord our God we call.
With
good and evil redefined,
And
wrong construed today as right,
The
blind are leading forth the blind,
Who
stumble on, refusing sight.
Though
many claim that they are wise,
Which
they profess to all who ask,
The
Lord sees through their thin disguise;
His
counsel still removes their mask.
O
Lord, Your wisdom from above
Still
strips away hypocrisy,
Yet
in the Gospel of Your love,
We
find the truth that makes us free.
