Presented Preserved

“The LORD giveth wisdom…  He is a Buckler to them that walk uprightly.  He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of His saints” (Proverbs 2:6-8).  “Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life... Now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, to the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen” (Jude 21-25). 

The Lord gives His wisdom to all of His own,

And He is a Shield to all who obey. 
The paths of His mercy and truth are made known,
And there He preserves those who walk in His way.

How sweet is the love of our God that we treasure!

How great is His mercy that keeps our souls pure
As we keep ourselves in the path of His pleasure,
Upheld by His grace which has made us secure!

We worship the Lord who is certainly able

To shepherd our souls and to keep us from falling. 
Though foes still surround us, He’s spreading a table,
Preserving our souls as on Him we are calling. 

Praise God for the prospect we see now before us!

Give thanks to the Lord for His grace undeserved!  
That day is approaching, and oh, it is glorious,
When He will present us as those He preserved!

So now unto You, Lord, we offer our praise

For all of Your mercies bestowed with salvation.
You’ve guided our souls in the paths of Your ways,
Presenting us faultless by Your preservation! 

O Lord, we’ll give thanks and we’ll greatly rejoice

When we are presented preserved in Your sight!
With all Your redeemed we shall lift up our voice
With hearts that adore You with endless delight!
