Read: Psalm 11 / Proverbs 18 / Ezekiel 5 /2 Cor. 4
Psalm 11:3,4 ~ If the foundations be destroyed, what can the
righteous do? The LORD is in
his holy temple, the LORD'S throne is
in heaven… his eyelids try, the children of men.
Proverbs 18:2 ~ A fool hath no delight in understanding, but that
his heart may discover itself.
Ezekiel 5:8 ~ Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even
I, am against thee, and will
execute judgments in the midst of thee in the sight of the nations.
2 Corinthians 4:3,4 ~ But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are
lost: in whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which
believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ… the image of God,
should shine unto them.
Foundations of morality
Are as eternal as God’s
throne,
But fools have no delight to see
A view that contradicts their
own.
“I am against thee,” says our
God
To those who will not count the
cost,
Who blindly spread the lies and
fraud
That hide the Gospel from the
lost.
