Psalm 148:13 ~ Praise the name of the LORD: for his name alone is
excellent; his glory is above
the earth and heaven.
Proverbs 5:9 ~ Lest thou give thine honor unto others, and thy
years unto the cruel.
Jeremiah 49:16 ~ Thy terribleness hath deceived thee, and the pride of thine heart… I will bring thee down…saith the LORD.
1 Corinthians 7:29-31 ~ But this I say, brethren, the time is short… Use this world, as not
abusing it: for the fashion of
this world passeth away.
Let us proclaim our Savior’s
praise
And preach the Word of His
report
As we are mindful that our days
On earth are numbered and are
short.
Though many are deceived by
pride
As they reject the Lord’s
compassion,
They shall regret that they
relied
Upon this world’s fleeting
fashion.
