Psalm 144:15 ~ Happy is
that people, that is in such a case: yea, happy is that
people, whose God is the LORD.
Proverbs 1:33 ~ But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and
shall be quiet from fear of evil.
Jeremiah 45:5 ~ And seekest thou great things for thyself? seek them not: for, behold, I will bring
evil upon all flesh, saith the LORD: but thy life will I give unto thee for a
prey in all places whither thou goest.
1 Corinthians 3:19,20 ~ For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with
God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness. And again,
The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.
How great indeed is saving grace
That rescues those who trust our
Lord!
They find in Him their Hiding
Place
And treasures yet to be
explored.
The things this world has
esteemed
Are void of any lasting gain.
Our prize is that we are
redeemed;
All other hope is surely vain.
