"Joseph said unto his brethren... Ye shall tell my father of all my glory in Egypt, and of all that ye have seen... And Israel said, It is enough; Joseph my son is yet alive" (Genesis 45:4-28). "How shall we sing the LORD'S song in a strange land?" (Psalm 137:4). "Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad" (Proverbs 12:25). "Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ... And who is sufficient for these things?" (2 Corinthians 2:14-16).
Through Joseph all joy was
restored
By proving that he was
alive.
So likewise the song of
the Lord
He gives to our heart
should revive.
Our Savior is risen
indeed!
This reason to sing shall
suffice,
Since Jesus has met our
deep need
By paying redemption's
great price!
His grace is sufficient to
lift
The heaviness found in our
heart
As we have examined His
gift
That He gave His life to
impart.
O Lord, as we think on
these things,
We find Your sufficiency
cheers
The heart which now
joyfully sings,
As You wipe away all the
tears.
