No Nobler Name

"Let all those that put their trust in Thee rejoice… let them also that love Thy name be joyful in Thee" (Psalm 5:11).  "His children shall have a place of refuge" (Proverbs 14:26).  "The LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before Him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon His name" (Malachi 3:16).  "Jesus said… I am the Resurrection, and the Life:  he that believeth in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: and whosoever liveth and believeth in Me shall never die" (John 11:25,26). 

Let all who put their trust in Christ

Rejoice in Him who bore their shame, 

Who for our sake was sacrificed

To grant us refuge in His name. 

We join the fellowship of those

Who love the name of Christ our Savior,

Recalling that He died and rose

To save us by His gracious favor. 

In Christ we find our confidence;

His name declares His reputation. 

No other stood in our defense;

In Him alone we have salvation. 

O Lord, no nobler name is found

Triumphant for us in the strife

Than Yours (we love to hear its sound!):
