"Order my steps in Thy Word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me" (Psalm 119:133). "By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil. When a man's ways please the LORD, He maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him" (Proverbs 16:6,7). "Thus saith the LORD... I will defend this city to save it for Mine own sake" (Isaiah 37:33,35). "As it is written, Behold, I lay in Zion a Stumblingstone and Rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed" (Romans 9:33).
Let steps be
ordered in God's Word
And not
conformed to man's opinion.
When this
condition has occurred,
We shall be ruled
by Christ's dominion.
By grace and
truth our sin was purged
When Jesus died
to take our place,
And by the fear
of God we're urged
To turn away
from sin by grace.
Let arrogant
dominions cease
Within our
hearts which have competed
With Christ our
Lord, the Prince of Peace,
That sin in us
may be defeated.
Defeat the
strongholds in us, Lord,
That we may thus
be unashamed
As Your dominion
is restored
And Your
salvation is proclaimed!
