"They have made void Thy law… Therefore I love Thy commandments… I esteem all Thy precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate every false way" (Psalm 119:126-128). "A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth… The heart of the righteous studieth to answer: but the mouth of the wicked poureth out evil things" (Proverbs 15:23,28). "What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?... It is God that justifieth… It is Christ that died… that is risen again, who… loved us" (Romans 8:31-37).
The
lost may mock us all day long,
As
if God's law has been made void,
But
right is right and wrong is wrong;
God's
absolutes are not destroyed.
There
is an answer God commands,
Through
prayerful study in His Word,
By
prophecy fulfilled that stands
With
evidence we've seen and heard.
What
shall we say then to these things?
Our
God is for us, this we know,
And
none can thwart the King of kings
In
heaven's height or hell below!
Your
answer, Lord, is absolute
And
settled evermore above:
Your
enemies shall not refute
That
You have saved us by Your love!
