"There I will meet with the children of Israel... sanctified by My glory... that I may dwell among them: I am the LORD their God" (Exodus 29:43,46). "Glory is great in Thy salvation" (Psalm 21:5). "The way of life is above to the wise" (Proverbs 15:24). "The Lord Himself shall descend... and the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we... shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord" (1 Thessalonians 4:16,17).
The
tabernacle was the place
Where
God declared that He would meet,
For
there He glorified His grace,
Foreshadowing
His work complete.
The
glory of the Lord's salvation
Portrayed
in offerings sacrificed
Displayed
then to His congregation
The
sanctifying work of Christ.
The
tabernacle on display
Before
the congregation's eyes
Declared
the price our Lord would pay
To
save the souls He sanctifies.
Lord,
as we richly meditate
On
tabernacle types You share,
Our
hearts still more anticipate
When
we shall meet You in the air.
