"Whosoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it, an offering of the LORD... The children of Israel brought a willing offering unto the LORD... for all manner of work, which the LORD had commanded" (Exodus 35:5,29). "One thing have I desired... to behold the beauty of the LORD" (Psalm 27:4). "The LORD pondereth the hearts... as for the upright, He directeth his way" (Proverbs 21:2,29). "I will therefore that men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting" (1 Timothy 2:8).
The
Lord who ponders every heart
Enlists
the people who are willing
With
wisdom that He shall impart
To
do His work they are fulfilling.
It's
more than just a sense of duty
That
stirs the willing hearts today.
It
is the thirst to see the beauty
Of
Jesus Christ, whom we obey.
So
let us lift up holy hands
For
heaven's work in progress still
As
we respond to His commands
With
prayerful hearts to do His will.
Let
heaven's work, Lord, be perfected
By
holy hands prepared to do
The
work of heaven You've directed
With
willing hearts we bring to You.
