"The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God... Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge?" (Psalm 14:1,4). "Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth the hearts" (Proverbs 21:2). "Thus saith the Lord GOD... thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a god... yet thou art a man, and not God " (Ezekiel 28:2). "Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction... and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life " (Matthew 7:13,14).
We hear the things that fools have said
Which show the darkness of their mind
As with no knowledge they are led
By others who are likewise blind.
A fool may say there is no God
And think he's right in his deduction.
The way is dangerous and broad
That leads a fool to his destruction.
Another fool draws the conclusion
That he's a god in his opinion.
How very dark is this confusion
Which has denied the Lord's dominion.
O Lord, we see how dangerous
The darkness is that leads to wrath.
We thank You that you rescued us
And set us on Your narrow path.
