"Lord, all my desire is before Thee; and my groaning is not hid from Thee.... In Thee, O Lord, do I hope: Thou wilt heart, O Lord my God" (Psalm 38:9,15). "For He hath looked down from the height of His sanctuary, from heaven did the Lord behold the earth; to hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those that are appointed to death" (Psalm 102:19,20).
Lord, all my desire You surely have known
In trials by fire, in the floods when I groan.
Each time, in each place, and in each situation,
You've shown me Your grace, Your love, and salvation.
And though I despair, I am never alone.
I know that You care, and You hear when I groan.
And even in sorrow, You are working for good.
In heaven's tomorrow, it will be understood.
