Psalm 119:63 ~ I am a companion of all them that fear thee, and of them that keep thy precepts.
Proverbs 11:28,30 ~ He that trusteth in his riches shall fall: but the righteous shall flourish as a branch… The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.
Zechariah 11:11-13 ~ So the poor of the flock that waited upon me knew that it was the word of the LORD… So they weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver… I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of the LORD.
Matthew 8:27 ~ But the men marveled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!
I have companions who are poor
(Yet rich by heaven’s estimation)
Who value Christ our Savior more
Than all the wealth of every nation.
We marvel at the price foretold
Regarding silver that was weighed:
For thirty pieces Christ was sold
And in this manner was betrayed!
