Call on Christ

Read:  Psalm 119:145-152 / Proverbs 22 / Genesis 4 / Mat. 19

 

Psalm 119:150-152 ~ They draw nigh that follow after mischief: they are far from thy law. Thou art near, O LORD; and all thy commandments are truth. Concerning thy testimonies, I have known of old that thou hast founded them forever.

Proverbs 22:20,21 ~ Have not I written to thee excellent things in counsels and knowledge, That I might make thee know the certainty of the words of truth; that thou mightest answer the words of truth to them that send unto thee?

Genesis 4:26 ~ And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name of the LORD.

Matthew 19:14 ~ Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

 

The enemy is drawing near

With subtlety and dark seduction,

But Christ has made His presence clear

And bids us follow His instruction.

 

Though Satan lurks among us all

And seeks those whom he may devour,

As children rescued from the fall,

We call on Christ and trust His power.
