Find Him Faithful

"Fear not… for the LORD God, even my God, will be with thee; He will not fail thee, nor forsake thee" (1 Chronicles 28:20).  "Thou art near, O LORD; and all Thy commandments are truth" (Psalm 119:151).  "Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seek the LORD understand all things" (Proverbs 28:5).  "Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; for He is faithful that promised… For yet a little while, and He that shall come will come, and will not tarry" (Hebrews 10:23,37). 

The Lord our God will never fail

And neither will the Lord forsake

His children, whom He knows are frail;

His promise He will never break. 

There is no cause for us to fear

When visited with tribulation;

Our Lord has promised to be near

And faithful in each situation. 

Though evil men don't understand

The coming judgment that they scorn,

God still extends His faithful hand

To rescue sinners whom we warn.

We find You faithful, Christ our Savior,

In joy and sorrow, peace and trial. 

We know there is no cause to waver;

You'll come in just "a little while."
