"Then wrought... every wise hearted man, in whom the LORD put wisdom and understanding to know how to work all manner of work for the service of the sanctuary, according to all that the LORD had commanded" (Exodus 36:1). "Have not I written to thee excellent things... that thou mightest answer the words of truth to them that send unto thee?" (Proverbs 22:20,21). "These things write I unto thee... that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God" (1 Timothy 3:14-15).
The tabernacle
was designed
With types of
Christ to be fulfilled.
God put the
wisdom in each mind
Of every worker
charged to build.
The house of God
we build today
Is not of metal,
wood, and stone,
But made of
sinners who will pray,
Who trust in
Christ, and make Him known.
The Lord has
given us His Word
To know the way
we should behave,
And by His
Spirit we are stirred
To reach the
souls whom He would save.
The tabernacle
truth, O Lord,
Within Your
house is still reflected
Wherein Your
glory is explored
And Your
returning is expected.
