"Arise… be of good courage, and do it… Make confession unto the LORD God… and do His pleasure: and separate yourselves from the people of the land" (Ezra 10:4,11). "I have trusted in Thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in Thy salvation" (Psalm 13:5). "The prudent man looketh well to his going" (Proverbs 14:15). "When Jesus was born in Bethlehem… there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, saying, Where is He that is born King of the Jews? For we… are come to worship Him" (Matthew 2:1,2).
Arise and do as
God has said,
Though it shall
cause a separation
From those who
go their way instead
With no regard
for God's salvation.
The mercy of the
Lord is plain:
The Lord has
sent to us a Savior!
The lost must
surely be insane
Who blindly turn
away His favor.
Our Lord was
born in Bethlehem,
And thus began
God's great love story
Which drew Him to
Jerusalem
To die for souls
He brings to glory!
O Lord, we join
those wise men now,
As separated
seekers do,
To worship
humbly as we bow
To give our
thanks and praise to You.
