"Give unto the LORD the glory due unto His name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.... The LORD will give strength unto His people; the LORD will bless His people with peace" (Psalm 29:2,11). "Unto you is born this day in the city of David as Savior, which is Christ the Lord.... And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men" (Luke 2:10-14).
Give to Jesus Christ our Lord
The glory that is due His name.
Angels did with one accord,
And we should surely do the same.
For unto us is born a Savior;
Unto us God gave His Son.
Not to angels was this favor,
But for mankind was this done!
Lord, help us magnify Your worth,
As heaven's praise which does not cease,
For how much more should we on earth
Give glory for Your Gift of peace!
