(Change We Can REALLY Believe In!)
"And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us: and establish Thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish Thou it" (Psalm 90:17). "As we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.... and we shall be changed" (1 Corinthians 15:49,52).
Let the beauty of the Lord
Be evident upon our lives.
This is what we look toward,
And that for which His Spirit strives.
Strengthen, Lord, our feeble hands
So that our work by grace may last,
And leave a monument the stands
To future generations passed.
This is now our Christian duty,
For such a time by God arranged.
Yet God shall grant eternal beauty
In that day we shall be changed!
How beautiful the victory
That we may see on history's pages!
Behold as well eternity:
We shall be changed for endless ages!
