Read: Psalm 60 / Proverbs 6 / Daniel 6 / Titus 2
Psalm 60:5-12 ~ That
thy beloved may be delivered; save with
thy right hand, and hear me… Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our
enemies.
Proverbs 6:3 ~ Do
this now, my son, and deliver thyself… go, humble thyself, and make sure thy
friend.
Daniel 6:27 ~ He
delivereth and rescueth, and he worketh signs and wonders in heaven and in
earth, who hath delivered Daniel from the power of the lions.
Titus 2:13,14 ~ The
great God and our Savior Jesus Christ…
gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and
purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
In
Jesus Christ we have a Friend
Defending
us who cannot fail.
Though
foes against His church contend,
The
gates of hell shall not prevail.
There
is no friend like Jesus Christ
Who
rescued Daniel from his foes,
Who
for our sake was sacrificed
And
who prevailed when He rose.
