Read: Psalm 58 / Proverbs 4 / Daniel 4 / 2 Timothy 4
Psalm 58:3-5 ~ The wicked… go astray as soon as they be born,
speaking lies. Their poison is
like the poison of a serpent: they are
like the deaf adder that
stoppeth her ear; which will not hearken to the voice of charmers, charming
never so wisely.
Proverbs 4:19 ~ The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble.
Daniel 4:37 ~ Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honor the
King of heaven, all whose works are
truth, and his ways judgment… those that walk in pride he is able to abase.
2 Timothy 4:2-4 ~ Preach the word; be instant in season, out of
season… For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine… having
itching ears; and they shall turn away their
ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
Like serpents which are never
charmed,
The wicked choose to stop their
ear.
They think that they will not be
harmed
By blind indifference without
fear.
The chance for choosing Christ is
brief,
And every soul shall find this
out.
The time is short for unbelief,
For hell shall soon remove all
doubt.
