Read: Psalm 46 / Proverbs 23 / Ezekiel 40 / 2 Thes. 1
Psalm 46:10 ~ Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the
heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
Proverbs 23:17,18 ~
Be thou in the fear of the LORD all
the day long. For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be
cut off.
Ezekiel 40:4 ~ Son of man, behold with
thine eyes, and hear with thine ears, and set thine heart upon all that I shall
shew thee… declare all that thou seest.
2 Thessalonians
1:10 ~ When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in
all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that
day.
The Lord
commands us to be still
And contemplate the end of things,
Since Christ is God and surely will
Be worshiped as the King of kings.
So let this be our declaration
That hearts may seek Him while they may
As we proclaim His great salvation
And warn as well of judgment day.
