Psalm 79:9 ~ Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of
thy name… and purge away our sins, for thy name's sake.
Proverbs 7:24 ~ Hearken unto me now therefore, O ye children, and
attend to the words of my mouth.
Isaiah 25:4 ~ For thou hast been a strength to the poor, a
strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm.
Luke 6:47,48 ~ Whosoever… heareth my sayings, and doeth them… is
like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a
rock; and … the flood arose… and could
not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.
The God of our salvation came
To purge the sins we could not
hide.
He is a Shield from our shame,
Our refuge in the rising tide.
Though storms will come, and
floods arise,
The house we build on rock yet
stands.
So, likewise Christ declares
them wise
Who hear and DO what He
commands.
