Psalm 84:11 ~ For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good
thing will he withhold from
them that walk uprightly.
Proverbs 12:20 ~ Deceit is
in the heart of them that imagine evil: but to the counselors of peace is joy.
Isaiah 30:21 ~ Thine ears shall hear… This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand… when
ye turn to the left.
Luke 11:21,22 ~ When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his
goods are in peace: But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and
overcome him, he taketh… his spoils.
The Lord is both a Sun and
Shield
Who gives to us His grace and
glory
As Christ our Savior is revealed
Within the Gospel’s wondrous
story.
Since we are counselors of
peace,
We dare not wait a moment
longer,
For lies unchallenged shall
increase,
But evidence from Christ is
stronger.
