Psalm 8:5 ~ For thou hast made him a little lower than the
angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honor.
Proverbs 28:5 ~ Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seek
the LORD understand all things.
Job 16:10 ~ They have gaped upon me with their mouth; they have
smitten me upon the cheek reproachfully; they have gathered themselves together
against me.
Revelation 1:5 ~ Jesus Christ… the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead,
and the prince of the kings of the earth...
loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood.
Christ set aside His outward
splendor
To thus accomplish our
salvation.
He came to die as our Defender
And now is crowned with
exaltation.
Behold the Lamb for sinners
smitten,
The First Begotten from the
dead!
He purged our sins, as it was
written,
When He was wounded in our
stead.
