Psalm 136:1,23,24 ~ O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth forever... Who remembered us in our low estate... and hath redeemed us from our enemies.
Proverbs 15:11 Hell and destruction are before the LORD: how much more then the hearts of the children of men?
Numbers 35:11,12 ~ Ye shall appoint you... cities of refuge... and they shall be unto you cities for refuge from the avenger.
1 John 1:9 ~ If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us... and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Give thanks to God who has redeemed
And saved us from eternal hell
Because our souls were so esteemed
With greater love than we can tell.
There was no refuge for our soul
Till Christ became our Hiding Place
And paid redemption's price in full
To cleanse us by His saving grace!
