The goodness of our God endures,
Though foes are boasting of their might,
Yet God’s trustworthiness ensures
That faith in Him is always right.
We do not trust in mortal man;
Though good-intentioned, he will die.
Forever, since the earth began,
Our Lord is true, and cannot lie.
