Psalm 131:1 LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty:
neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.
Proverbs 10:22 The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he
addeth no sorrow with it.
Numbers 30:2 If a man vow a vow unto the LORD, or swear an oath to
bind his soul... he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that
proceedeth out of his mouth.
1 Peter 4:3,11 The time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the
Gentiles... If any man minister, let
him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may
be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion forever and
ever. Amen.
Our vows have
found vitality,
Not in our
self-determination,
But in the truth
that makes us free
To serve the God
of our salvation.
It is the blessing
of the Lord
That turns us from
our former ways
By grace He daily
will afford
To live a life
that gives Him praise.
