Psalm 147:11 The LORD taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in
those that hope in his mercy.
Proverbs 26:2 The curse causeless shall not come.
Deuteronomy
10:12,21 And now, Israel,
what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to
walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all
thy heart and with all thy soul... He is
thy praise, and he is thy God, that
hath done for thee these great and terrible things, which thine eyes have seen.
Revelation 4:11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor
and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and
were created.
How wonderful it
is to know
That God takes
pleasure in His own!
To save us from
the curse's blow,
He left the
splendor of His throne.
He is our Praise
and highest Pleasure,
Who has
accomplished our salvation!
He is our Hero and
our Treasure,
The awesome Lord
of all creation!
