Psalm
65:3-4 Iniquities prevail against me: as for our
transgressions, thou shalt purge them away... we shall be satisfied with the
goodness of thy house, even of thy holy temple.
Proverbs 12:20 To the counselors of peace is joy.
Exodus 10:2 Tell in the ears of thy
son, and of thy son's son, what things I have... done among them; that ye may know how that I am the LORD.
1 Corinthians
6:19-20 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost... and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with
a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are
God's.
Though our
iniquities prevailed,
The Lord has
purged them all away.
His promised
mercy never failed,
Though we, like
sheep, had gone astray.
The purging of Your
people, Lord,
Has come by Your
self-sacrifice.
No lesser love
could thus afford
Salvation at so
great a price!
