"Abraham begat Isaac. The sons of Isaac; Esau and Israel" (1 Chronicles 1:34). "Thy people shall be willing in the day of Thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning" (Psalm 110:3). "The turning away of the simple shall slay them… But whoso hearkeneth unto Me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil" (Proverbs 1:32,33). "Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness" (1 Thessalonians 5:5).
There
is a great divide between
The
children of the day and night,
For
Christ our Lord will intervene
Between
the darkness and the light.
The
line which came from Abraham
Now
illustrates this very well.
The
light of Christ, the great I Am,
Has
shined with grace from Israel.
This
is the day of saving power,
Though
many choose to turn away.
May
we be willing in this hour
To
shine as children of the day.
O
Lord, there is no neutral ground
Between
the day or darkness now.
So
may we by Your grace be found
To
shine with light that You endow.
