Satisfier and Savior

"The LORD is nigh unto… all that call upon Him in truth…  He also will hear their cry, and will save them" (Psalm 145:18,19).  "Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give Me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of Him, and He would have given thee living water… And many more believed because of His own word, and said… We have heard Him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Savior of the world" (John 4:10,41,42). 

The Lord hears the seekers who call,

And saves those whose hearts are sincere. 

Our Savior is gracious to all

Who humbly to Him will draw near. 

The water that Christ will supply

Is living and quenches our thirst,

Though all other wells have run dry

In lands that are barren and cursed. 

The woman who came to the well

Discovered the water He gave

And hastily went forth then to tell

Her city of Christ who can save. 

O Lord, we have come with desire

And find it fulfilled by Your favor,

For You are our soul's Satisfier,

And You are our wonderful Savior!
