The
Spirit and the bride of Christ
Say,
“Come” to all who are athirst.
Do
not by others be enticed,
For
other wells are dry and cursed.
We
know our Savior said at last
That
He will come to call His own.
With
thunderous voice and trumpet blast
We
shall be gathered to His throne.
Until
that long-awaited day,
The
bride of Christ still says, “Amen!”
As
“even so,” His people pray,
Now
“come, Lord Jesus!” Come again!
We
call to all who thirst and yearn:
Now
come to Christ, all those who will!
We
also call for Christ’s return,
A
promise that He’ll soon fulfill!
We
know You’ll come, Lord, after all,
And
we shall see You face to face.
Until
that day, we join the call:
O
sinners, come! Be saved by grace!
