Read: Psalm 119:137-144 / Prov. 13 / Ezra 6 / 1 Tim. 6
Psalm 119:140,141 ~ Thy word is
very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it. I am small and despised: yet
do not I forget thy precepts.
Proverbs 13:20 ~ He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.
Ezra 6:22 ~ The LORD had made them joyful, and turned the heart
of the king of Assyria unto them, to strengthen their hands in the work of the
house of God, the God of Israel.
1 Timothy 6:20 ~ O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy
trust, avoiding profane and
vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called.
The Word of God is very pure
With precepts that His foes
despise.
Yet wise men know its truth is
sure,
No matter who is telling
lies.
Though we may face opposing
kings,
The Bible’s truth shall still
remain.
When fools forget these basic
things,
They turn to babble that is
vain.
