Psalm 48:3 ~ God is known in her palaces for a refuge.
Proverbs 30:5 ~ Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
Numbers 33:4 ~ For the Egyptians buried all their firstborn, which the LORD had smitten among them: upon their gods also the LORD executed judgments.
2 Timothy 1:7 ~ God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
The Lord makes known His reputation:
He is our everlasting Shield.
By Him alone we have salvation,
And by His stripes we have been healed.
The gods of Egypt all were smitten,
Foretold and found to be a fraud.
God’s pure prophetic words are written
With proof that we may trust in God.
