1 Samuel 25:36-38 ~ Nabal [Heb. fool]... held a feast in his house, like the feast of a king... And it came to pass about ten days after, that the LORD smote Nabal, that he died.
John 12:25 ~ He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.
Today if we hear the Lord's voice,
The right thing to do is obey.
The wise-hearted makes the right choice;
The hard-hearted fool goes astray.
Though Nabal's great wealth was well known,
His heart against God had been hardened.
He died with a heart hard as stone,
Like fools who refuse to be pardoned.
